2023 has been an exCELlent year with abundant successes for CEL and its customers. Read on for some inspiring customer stories!

CEL Celebrates Customer Successes

In 2023, we conducted 28 site visits and installed metering equipment at 12 customer sites. The positive results have meant that our customers have saved time, money, and energy.

Here are some highlights:

🔌 At Sonora Elementary in southern California, CEL conducted the first-ever field application of Model Predictive Control technology in a K-12 school. CEL’s platform successfully:

• reduced 24% of total peak power
• reduced 30% of HVAC peak power
• shifted 16% of the load from using high-priced energy to low-priced energy

🚌 Franklin Pierce School District, located in Washington State, leveraged its electric bus fleet and reduced the district’s HVAC peak load by more than 20%.

⚡ Lincoln Elementary in Hoquiam, WA, saw a 28% 15-minute peak interval demand reduction and 29% energy usage cost reduction. This resulted in more than $13,500 in energy savings over the 12-week pilot period.
