Tanya Barham, CEL's Founder and CEO, was named one of Grist's 50 Fixers of 2023.
50 Fixers is an annual list highlighting climate change leaders, often before they become household names. The list is released by Grist, a nonprofit, independent media organization dedicated to telling stories of climate solutions and a just future.
2023's list features CEL Founder and CEO Tanya Barham. Tanya is recognized for her efforts to use smart technology to make building decarbonization accessible and affordable. Joining her on the list are leaders representing policy, fashion, tech, food, entertainment, and many other industries. These leaders are tackling climate change from all angles. As Grist says, they are "showing what a vibrant, diverse climate movement looks like, and how everyone has a place in it."
Tanya put it best when she said:
