CEL had its first-ever all-Female and NB crew on a recent site visit to Temecula Valley Unified School District!
CEL strives to be a workplace that welcomes and celebrates diversity and inclusion. We hit a big milestone in our quest for that goal in June 2023, when we had our first all-Female and Non-binary field visit crew! We visited several schools in Temecula Valley Unified School District in Southern California. Our team included CEO Tanya Barham, Director of Customer Success Rebecca Peredo, and our two summer interns, Alvina Zhan and Heather De Munn. Imagine our delight when we realized that TVUSD was ALSO fielding an all-Female and NB facilities crew!
We spent the site visit chatting with TVUSD staff, scaling buildings, crawling through mechanical closets, and exploring their beautiful campus. Most importantly, we talked about how CEL's tech can help the district save money and become more resilient.
This may have been our first all-Female and NB crew, but we are sure it won't be our last!
